The E2S A100, A105N, A112N, and A121 variants are part of the same industrial alarm horn sounder platform and share a consistent core specification. Each unit provides 64 selectable alarm tones compliant with UKOOA/PFEER and supports 4 remotely activated stages, enabling flexible multi-signal operation. Automatic synchronisation ensures consistent tone output across multiple devices, while low current consumption supports efficient system design. All models are diode polarised for use in monitored/supervised circuits and allow for custom tone configuration, making them suitable for integration into fire, security, and process control systems.
From an engineering and compliance standpoint, the range is designed for reliability in demanding environments. All models feature high-impact, flame-retardant ABS enclosures (UL94 V0 & 5VA), conformal-coated electronics for environmental protection, and IP66 ingress protection. They operate across a wide temperature range (-40°C to +66°C) and meet SIL1 and SIL2 requirements in accordance with IEC61508 (Route 2H), supporting use in safety-related systems. Standardised wiring terminals (0.5–2.5 mm²) and wide AC/DC voltage compatibility simplify installation and ensure consistency across projects.
The key differences lie in acoustic performance, coverage, and application scale. The A100 and A105N are standard-output devices (101–104 dB(A) @10ft/3m ±3dB) suited to indoor or general-purpose industrial applications. Whilst the A112N and A121 deliver significantly higher output (up to 115 dB(A)) for large, high-noise, or outdoor environments. This increase in output is matched by extended effective range, larger physical size, and higher power capability, including D-Class amplifier technology in the higher models. Additionally, the A112N and A121 offer more flexible stage switching options and enhanced environmental tolerance, making them better suited for harsh or critical installations.
