E2S: D2xC1X05 / D2xC1X10

Class I Division 2 hazardous location combined alarm horn & xenon strobe - 107dB(A), 64 tones, 94.78/288.8 cd, red/gray color

Description

The D2xC1X05 and D2xC1X10 are high-output, combination audible-visual signaling devices designed for hazardous location fire alarm and general signaling applications. Each unit integrates a 107 dB(A) alarm horn with a Xenon strobe, available in either 5 Joule (D2xC1X05) or 10 Joule (D2xC1X10) configurations to meet varying visual intensity requirements.

Both models are housed in a corrosion-resistant, marine-grade aluminum die-cast enclosure that is chromated and powder coated for long-term durability in harsh industrial and marine environments. The enclosure is rated Type 4/4X and IP66, providing protection against water ingress, hose-down conditions, and corrosion in hazardous (classified) locations.

The devices carry global hazardous area certifications including ATEX and IECEx for Zone 2 and 22, and North American approvals for NEC/CEC Class I Division 2, Class II Division 2, Class I Zone 2, and Zone 22 applications. A 24Vdc UL and cUL listed version is available for fire alarm service in the United States and Canada.

The D2xC1X05 provides an effective intensity of 94.78 candela with a peak output of 33,410 candela, while the D2xC1X10 delivers a higher effective intensity of 288.8 candela and a peak output of 101,784 candela for applications requiring enhanced visual signaling performance.

D2xC1X05 / D2xC1X10:
• 107 dB(A) alarm horn
• UL464 / UL1638 fire alarm certified
• 64 alarm tones
• 4 remotely selectable alarm stages/channels
• Field-replaceable lens color filters
• Dual cable entries
• Supplied with hazardous location rated stopping plugs/adaptors
• Manufacturer warranty: 10 years
