Description

The D1xB2X05, D1xB2X10, D1xB2X15, and D1xB2X21 are globally approved explosion-proof Xenon beacons, available in 5 Joule, 10 Joule, 15 Joule, and 21 Joule versions respectively. The robust Type 4/4X, IP66, corrosion-proof LM6 marine grade aluminum alloy enclosure ensures suitability for Class I & II Div 1, Zone 1, 2, 21 & 22 hazardous location applications.

Approved to UL1638 and CAN/ULC S526 for fire alarm use (EN54-23, MED and MER on select models), these beacons produce a high-output Xenon flash for effective visual signaling, including environments with elevated ambient light levels (higher Joule models). The field-replaceable color filter enhances the strobe output and is constructed from UV-stable polycarbonate.

The robust enclosure features a threaded flame path and multiple cable entries (model dependent). Mounting options include surface installation via integrated lugs, pendant mounting, or multi-directional mounting with an optional stainless steel bracket.

SIL1 and SIL2 compliant to IEC 61508 (2010) as standard (Route 2H on select models), with an optional diagnostic module available for Route 1H SIL2 compliance.
