Description

The D1xL1F, D1xL2F, and D1xL2H are explosion-proof PA loudspeakers designed for high-output voice and alarm signaling in Class I Division 1 environments. Available in 15W (D1xL1F) and 25W (D1xL2F and D1xL2H) power ratings, the units deliver high sound pressure levels up to 129 dB(A), providing clear and intelligible audio in high ambient noise areas.

Each model is housed in a marine-grade, corrosion-proof aluminum enclosure with Type 4/4X and IP66 ratings. The speakers are suitable for use in Class I and II Division 1 and Zone 1, 20, and 21 hazardous locations, meeting the requirements for explosion-proof installations in oil & gas, petrochemical, marine, and heavy industrial applications.

The re-entrant flare horn is constructed from high-impact, fire-retardant thermoplastic and is field replaceable. The driver utilizes a standard 1-3/8"-18 male thread coupling for ease of maintenance and component replacement. All models feature triple cable entries, duplicated terminals for loop-in/loop-out wiring, and a large termination chamber with a threaded flameproof joint, simplifying installation, inspection, and routine maintenance while maintaining flamepath integrity.

These loudspeakers provide a robust, high-performance audio signaling solution for critical communication and emergency notification in demanding hazardous area environments.
