Description

The D2xL2H, D2xL2F, and D2xL1F hazardous location PA loudspeakers are engineered for high-reliability industrial voice alarm and public address systems in Class I/II Division 2 and Zone 2 & 22 environments. Available in 25W (D2xL2H, D2xL2F) and 15W (D2xL1F) configurations, these loudspeakers deliver high sound pressure levels up to 124 dB (120 dB for D2xL1F) using re-entrant flare horn technology optimized for intelligible speech in high-noise areas. Each unit is housed in a Type 4/4X, IP66 marine-grade, corrosion-proof aluminum enclosure, making them suitable for harsh onshore, offshore, and process-industry applications where durability and acoustic performance are critical.

All models feature field-replaceable, high-impact, fire-retardant thermoplastic horns with a standard 1-3/8″-18 threaded driver interface, along with dual 25V/70V line operation, triple cable entries, and duplicated terminals for flexible, redundant system design. A large termination chamber with a threaded flameproof joint simplifies installation, inspection, and routine maintenance in hazardous areas. Certified to global hazardous location standards, and UL 1480 and CAN/ULC-S541 listed for fire alarm use, the D2xL series is ideal for industrial PA, emergency notification, and evacuation systems in refineries, chemical plants, power generation facilities, and other demanding industrial environments.
